Teeth whitening in Les Corts

Teeth whitening lightens the natural colour of your teeth using peroxide gels applied under professional supervision. At our clinic in Les Corts, Barcelona, we first check that your mouth is healthy, then suggest in-clinic whitening, home whitening with custom trays, or a combination. Results vary from person to person.

What it is

Whitening works on the colour inside the tooth, not just on surface stains. It can be done in the clinic in one or two sessions, or at home with custom-made trays and a lower-strength gel over several weeks. The two are often combined.

Not all teeth respond in the same way: yellowish shades usually lighten better than greyish ones, and fillings, crowns or veneers don't change colour. That's why we start with a check-up and explain what you can realistically expect.

How it works

  1. Check and clean

We make sure there's no decay or gum inflammation and do a professional clean if needed.

  2. Record the shade

We note and photograph your starting shade so we can compare afterwards.

  3. Apply the gel

In the clinic, we protect your gums and apply the gel in timed intervals. At home, we give you custom trays and clear instructions.

  4. Manage sensitivity

We check in during the process and adjust the plan if sensitivity appears.

  5. Maintain the result

We give you tips and, if you like, occasional top-ups at home with your trays.

Frequently asked questions

Does whitening damage enamel?

When regulated products are used under professional supervision, whitening is considered safe for enamel. The most common side effect is temporary sensitivity. The risks increase with unregulated or misused products.

How long does whitening last?

It depends a lot on your habits. With little coffee, tea or tobacco and regular cleans, the effect can last a good while, and it can be topped up. We can't guarantee a specific length of time.

Will my teeth end up very white?

Whitening lightens your natural colour rather than replacing it. Every tooth has a limit, and we aim for a result that looks natural on you. We explain what to expect before we start.

Will my fillings or crowns whiten too?

No. Fillings, crowns and veneers keep their colour. If you have visible ones, they may need replacing afterwards to match, and we'll mention this at your assessment.

How much does teeth whitening cost?

It depends on whether it's in-clinic, at home or combined. Check our prices page for a guide. After your check-up, we give you a clear quote.
