Sample Treatment to be confirmed with the clinic
Clear aligners in Les Corts
Clear aligners straighten teeth using transparent, removable trays that you change every few weeks. At our clinic in Les Corts, Barcelona, we assess whether your case suits aligners or whether another option would work better for you. Treatment typically takes between 6 and 18 months, depending on how much movement is needed.

What it is
Aligners are custom-made trays of clear plastic. Each set moves your teeth slightly, and switching to the next set moves the plan forward. You need to wear them for around 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water and brush.
They work very well for many cases of crowding, gaps or teeth that have moved back after previous braces. Some complex movements are better handled with fixed braces. That's why we start with a full assessment and tell you honestly which option suits you.
How it works
-
Assess your case
We check your teeth, gums and bite, and take photos, X-rays and records to see whether aligners are suitable.
-
Plan digitally
We plan how your teeth will move and show you an approximate simulation of the result.
-
Fit your aligners
We show you how to put them in, take them out and clean them. If needed, we add small tooth-coloured bumps called attachments.
-
Monitor progress
We see you every few weeks to check that everything is moving as planned.
-
Keep the result
When treatment ends, we fit retainers so your teeth don't drift back.

Frequently asked questions
Can people see clear aligners?
They're transparent and very thin, so in everyday life they're hard to notice. If you have attachments, they may be slightly visible up close, although they're tooth-coloured.
Do clear aligners hurt?
When you switch to a new set, it's common to feel pressure or tenderness for a day or two, a sign your teeth are moving. It's usually very manageable. If something rubs or you have strong pain, let us know.
Can I eat with my aligners in?
No. Take them out to eat and to drink anything other than water, and brush before putting them back. This helps prevent staining and decay.
Are clear aligners better than braces?
It depends on your case and lifestyle. Aligners are more discreet and removable, but they need commitment. Braces are fixed and handle some complex movements with more control. After your assessment, we'll recommend the most suitable option.
How much do clear aligners cost?
The price depends on complexity and the number of aligners. Check our prices page for a guide and ask us about payment-plan options. After the assessment, we give you a fixed quote.
